The fact is that the majority of our thoughts and actions are on autopilot. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing either. Our habits, routines, impulses, and reactions carry us through our lives so we don’t have to stop and think about it every time we wipe our ass or start a car.

The problem is when we’re on autopilot for so long that we forget we’re on autopilot. Because when we’re not even aware of our own habits, routines, impulses, and reactions, then we no longer control them they control us.

Our entire life is on autopilot, and we’re not even aware of it. If you were on autopilot for so long that you forgot you were on autopilot, then you can’t control your actions, and you can’t control your actions.

On autopilot is a word that describes a state of mind that we can all relate to. For us, our lives are on autopilot. Whether it’s our job, our hobbies, our sex lives, our relationships, or our daily lives, we are usually on autopilot. Some of us are on autopilot for so long that we don’t even know we are.

People often describe their lives as “on autopilot” but the truth is that most of us are not aware that we are. We get so caught up in our daily lives and our career, we forget to consider that maybe we might be in autopilot mode or maybe we are just a tad out of sync. In either case, we should probably get in touch with the autopilot in us. The problem is, we tend to look at our autopilot as the problem.

You might be surprised to know that there are actually four major auto-pilot systems you have to worry about.

If you have a car, the autopilot is driving the car. If you are driving a boat (or a boat is driving you), the autopilot is steering the boat. If you are driving an SUV or some other large vehicle, the autopilot is the windshield. But the reality is we all have a little autopilot system inside us that’s running the show. It’s what keeps us going day to day.

That autopilot system is the brain. It is the human brain that’s constantly trying to make decisions. There are three major parts of the brain: the frontal cortex, the temporal cortex, and the parietal cortex. Each part is responsible for a part of the decision-making process.

The frontal cortex is responsible for our conscious decision making. It’s responsible for “what do you want to do right now?”. The temporal cortex is responsible for “what do you want to do next?” and the parietal cortex is responsible for “what do you want to do in the future?”. It’s the ability to think about the future. When it’s asleep, the brain is completely unaware of the future.

I think it’s safe to assume that most of us are asleep now. We’re not the ones sitting in front of a screen, we’re still thinking about the present. The next thing we could do is go back to some other time. We could try to think about what we wanted to do in the past. Maybe we had a plan to save the world. Maybe we wanted to be doctors. Maybe we wanted to be politicians. Maybe we wanted to be astronauts.
