It’s true that life can be hectic and crazy at times. And we all know that there are times that you want to slow down and enjoy the moment without thinking about it too much. It’s when you don’t have a lot of time—but enough to sit back, close your eyes, and focus on the present instead of dwelling on the future.
The problem comes when you’re too busy to really enjoy the moment. So you might find yourself checking your email, surfing the net, or just waiting for a break in the traffic. But even then, it can still be difficult to do these small things without worrying about something else. Luckily, there are a few small easy things you can do to help.
One is to simply check your email and see if there’s anything in particular you’re looking for. Sometimes, we’re so overwhelmed with the present that we forget to check the past.
Another easy thing to do that doesn’t take too much time is to look up a few words you know you use to describe your life. If you have trouble remembering what your dog is called, then check your dog’s name. If you forget the name of your ex-girlfriend, then look up the name of the person you think you used to be together. If you forget about your parents, then look up the name of the person you think you used to be their child.
And if you’re an author, it’s even easier because you’re probably used to using descriptive words to describe your book. If you’re a writer, you’re probably accustomed to describing the characters in your book with words like “dumbass” and “crazy”, so it’s not too much of a leap to use the same trick here.
If youre a writer, you’ll probably want to make sure your book description is in no way misleading. This is especially true if you’re writing in an academic genre. The way people describe academic authors is often different than the way they would describe a writer who works in fiction. In that case, you can always use descriptive words.
That said, I can’t think of a situation where I would ever describe a fictional character as “dumbass.” In my opinion, that would just be a bad description. But the problem with being descriptive is that it can get you in trouble. If your readers don’t know your character, or the setting or events, then they won’t know who to root for. But if your description is misleading, they will feel let down.
mussetti’s descriptions are extremely descriptive. He is a writer, and thus a nerd. But to write such a description, you have to be a nerd, so it can’t be a bad thing.
But why would a nerd write a description about a nerdy character? Because nerds are often the guys that write the bad descriptions. So, how does mussetti fit into this? Well, it’s a dumbass. Just as the title says. Not quite as dumb as the character, but just as dumb as most of our friends and family.
He is the “bad guy” in the game. An “idiot” who takes advantage of others. His actions are not good, but they are not as bad as the character’s actions. And he’s only in the game for a short amount of time.
