This summer garden is full of gorgeous cucumbers and I’m so glad I got to pick them! I love the way the light glistens on the cucumbers, and the way they’re dressed up with basil, garlic, and cheese.

It’s the perfect way to welcome summer into a kitchen, too. It’s a simple, yet flavorful way to add a little extra flair to your veggies.

Cucumbers are one of the easiest vegetables to grow and one that looks really nice. They are very versatile too, but they require a little more care than other vegetables.

The cucumbers I grew for this recipe were just a little smaller than I like, so I used a little less of them. I did, however, use a lot of basil and garlic, which I think adds a nice zing.
