I can’t see why you wouldn’t wrap the food in foil, especially if you’re going to take it out of the oven. It’ll probably be hot by the time you take the food out. Also, the idea of a cook-fire is pretty awesome. I just wish the cooking part was as slow as the baking part.
I don’t think we’ll ever get the cooking part right, but I do think the oven heats up a bit slower. It’ll be a bit more like the oven in real life, with the gas cooking. But it’ll still be slow because the oven must be in constant use, and the amount of time to cook is proportional to how hot the oven is.
