This is a recipe I have been making for years. I first made this during my childhood in India. It was one of the most popular dishes that my mom made when I was a kid. For the rice to be stir-fried, the main ingredients are rice, water, and soy sauce. There are no added ingredients. So it doesn’t sound like there is any actual rice in this recipe, although there are rice noodles in the original “sweet breakfast rice” recipe.
